The Central Library of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Rajkiya Engineering College, Pratapgarh, is the academic heart of the Institute supporting teaching, learning, and research across all engineering disciplines. With a carefully curated collection of textbooks, reference works, handbooks, standards, journals, and growing e-resources, the library fosters academic excellence, integrity, and lifelong learning.

Central Library Offers

  • Rich Print Collection: Core and elective course texts, competitive exam resources, project reports, and reference titles in engineering, sciences, and humanities.
  • User-Centric Services: Issue/return and renewals, reference and research help, current awareness displays (new arrivals, must-reads), reprography/printing, and book-bank support as per institute norms.
  • Learning Spaces: Quiet reading areas, reference corners, and staff-assisted counters that ensure a supportive and orderly study environment.

The Central Library envisions becoming a fully digital and interactive learning environment that supports multidisciplinary education and research excellence.

To support the institute’s teaching, learning, and research endeavours by offering high-quality print and digital resources, promoting information literacy and research culture, and providing a conducive, learner-centred environment. The library is committed to continuous improvement through digitization, e-library development, and ICT integration, ensuring timely and user-friendly access to knowledge for the entire academic community.

Until these services go live, staff will guide users to available e-resources and interim access points.

Library Rules & Timings

  • Access and Timings: Opens during the working hours of the Institute.
  • Borrowing: Entitlements and loan periods follow institute rules; late returns may attract fines as per regulations.
  • Etiquette: Maintain silence, keep mobile phones on silent mode, and handle materials with care to preserve resources for everyone.
